Why I boarded with group C on my recent flight when I paid for even more space seats 7B and C

On my flight, I boarded with group C passengers. I believed I shouldve boarded with a or B seeing I paid for the even more space seats. My seats were 7B and C. I waited a long time to board and had no room for my overhead suitcase, why is that?

Do not complain on these websites to solve the problem. Almost every single one of you needs a lawyer. Some of you may have state laws that cover legal expenses, but it can never ever hurt to call a lawyer. The other thing is your State resources. The Dept of Labor for both your wage and hours issues and work comp. EEOC for disability discrimination issues and other resources like the National Labor Board can help too. Call lawyers, call the State, and even call each other. TrueBlue is especially shady in work comp cases, call them in to the state and call a lawyer!

Hello, I am Laney Moriels ll. I worked on July 8, 2023 Allstar Game for Peopleready and I haven't been paid yet. I work out of Seattle office. The lady at Seattle office said that Ballpark management lost sign in sheet. How was sign in sheet lost and everyone on the sheet has been paid but me? I have called and left numerous messages about this wage theft situation. My account also has been blocked from booking jobs since July 2023. The only time I can book a job is if I receive a text message to sign up. When I be paid and when my account be unblocked? Thanks

I was suspended for 7 Days in August they wanted me to find signing attendance sheet in a different state but I seem to a different state I signed it I'm just trying to worK well I got back to work existed me lock my profiles in October I've been calling people ready that made my address I can get my w2s they will not do it it's not true blue it's their office people that work for Kentucky they are not doing their job well good people like me

Wrongfully fired

Hi, my name is Cornellisus Christian, I worked for a People's Ready branch located in Erie Pa. My complaint # is 943697****01 pin #7645 which I filed over the phone with one of your representative a week ago.

I was fired by the office manager of the branch located in Erie Pa.

with out given a reason.

I have text messages exchanged between me and the lady who handed me a hard hat to use at a construction job site at a mall and which she told me will cause $6

When I got to the job site at 8:am I didn't see anyone at all doing construction work So I called the office about 15 minutes later questioning her about the location because I didn't see anyone doing construction work.

she finally over a period of time gave me a contact # of the construction Supervisor. when I called and spoke with the supervisor he told me that they were going to be about an hour late. So I'm at the job site on time they are the ones who are late.

So the office lady told me she was going to put my start time down as 8:30 am instead of 8:00 for calling and asking her for more information about this construction job site which was suppose to start at 8:am

The only thing I did was through our text messages was respectfully dispute my start time because I was there on time, it was the construction workers who were late.

once the Supervisor arrived at the job site he told that I don't need that hard hat and to put it back in my car, he told me he provides all the hard hats vest and gear.

So I did text message the office lady and told her that I don't need the hard hat and if could get my $6 back which is actually taken out of your pay check. About 40 minutes later the office manager arrived on my job site in person and told me I was fired from People's Ready and to leave the job site and yelling at me in front of the Supervisor which was embarrassing to me and for y'all's company.

So I did as she told me and left.

but I feel that I did nothing wrong to be fired. I have been working for People's Ready altogether about 15 years

Technically you didn’t do anything wrong, but it would have been better to address both issues at end of day/next day. To be honest for 30 minutes of time and a $6 fee I’d have just let it go.

Website unclear. Thought I was paying to carry bag through whole confirmed flight series.

I can carry my bag on 1st leg but not on the 2nd leg, which I didnt learn until receiving boarding passes. Tried to resolve it by paying more but found out I just paid to get through security quickerbut its a second leg, I dont go through security.

Phone reps give 2 different answers: one says trust us that youll be ok at the gate (wont change boarding pass) and second rep(sup) says she was wrong but dont worry theyll probably let you bring your bag on(which was paid for for the 1st leg) but itll be a crap shoot. Never again on Jet Blue.

User's recommendation: Pay the exorbitant fees to begin with or go elsewhere. Any problems will go unresolved. Use a different airline.

True blue points

The value of our points were severely cut on our last purchase price for round trip tickets for my wife and I to Houston. On top of paying close to $1000 we had to give our 87000 points we had saved up!

The stewardess on the flight was pushing the credit card that one accrues points with and mentioned it only takes about 9000 points for round trip tickets within the USA without any blackout dates. If that is the case what happened!

Will be contacting the federal government on this false advertising! The transportation department should be made aware how us tax payers are being treated by these airlines that took our tax dollars to bale them out recently!

People Ready in Santa Barbara has refused to pay me 4 hours of sick leave that they owe me the Fall of 2019! They refuse to pay it.

I was assigned a gig for People Ready, 125 E. De La Guerra St.

Suite 204 in Santa Barbara CA 93101 in the fall of 2019.

At that time, I already had 3.5 years of employment history in San Diego, CA with People Ready.

The SB Manager said he was excited that I would come to work for them (I moved from SD to SB) and he also said, "man, you've worked a lot for us!!" I agreed that it was a lot, and it was mostly construction work.

Anyhow, I signed on for the following day for 8 hours setting up some sort of tents for an event that was happening in SB.

It was easy set up work that I've done many times before, and I was ready to go to work.

Unfortunately, I became very sick the following morning from something I ate the night before in SB and obviously did not agree with my tummy. I was up much of the night and could not sleep due to diarrhea and really upset stomach. By the time I woke up to head to work - I had no strength left in me from that night prior.

I called in at 6am and the girl who answered the phone confirmed my calling-in and said thank you. I indicated to her that I had four-hours of sick leave that I wanted to use in place of my absence, and she said okay.

No problem. When my four hours of sick leave pay did not show up by the following day, I called and asked to speak to that Manager, that I had spoken to on the phone earlier - he answered the phone and began screaming and yelling at me: " Naw, naw, naw, naw!! You can't use sick leave!. You knew you were going to call in sick!

You knew you were going to call in sick! I'm not paying you anything!". The guy sounded like a badly raised idiot and malcontent, and was acting like a sociopath. His parents obviously did a number on him, it seemed, because that behavior, of course - was learned behavior.

You do not act that way in the office environment or in the professional world.

Anyhow, I said goodbye, and that I would like him to pay me as soon as possible, and I hung up the phone. Today is 9/22/2022, and he still has not paid me.

True Blue/Labor Ready has never been known to make good hiring decisions when it comes to their office employees. You need to contact your state's Labor Board and file a complaint for the wages they owe you as well as their refusing to let you use your sick leave.

False Advertising

On 08/05/2022, I worked for PeopleReady at the West L.A./ Beverly Hills office. It was advertised as same day pay... To date, (08/05/2022),I still have not been paid by PeopleReady. This falls into the category of illegal employment labor law infractions.
